Stale Granola

What with the little one starting to tune in to grown-up conversation, I find myself in need of some moderately inoffensive words for those mornings when I realize that not only didn’t I transfer the laundry last night and all the clean dipes are currently sitting in a damp heap at the bottom of the washer but Hannah is also supplementing her breakfast with dog hair.

A quick search of the internet and my “30 Rock” daily calendar has turned up the following substitutions…

After about a million pads of steel wool, several wire brushes, a couple cans of paint, and a whirlwind intro to the sewing machine
